Im a Handbag Snob, and This $30 One Looks Like a $4,400 Luxury Version

Handbags are my ultimate weakness. I easily own well over 20; they’re my favorite part of any outfit. Take an LBD, for example. Swapping out my handbag each time I wear it makes it feel completely new, so in theory, it helps me get the most wear out of my clothes (it’s kind of like I’m saving money #girlmath). 

Not to play favorites, but one of my most recent finds I can’t stop wearing is A New Day’s Slouchy Shoulder Handbag from Target. The $30 buttery-soft style feels just as luxurious as some of my expensive designer ones, and it looks so similar to the $4,400 Small Jodie Bag from Bottega Veneta I’ve had on my wish list for a while.

While I love a designer handbag, my wallet? Not so much. Target is one of my favorite retailers to peruse for high-end-adjacent options that are affordable and well-made. I snagged the woven shoulder bag in cream to ensure it would match my mostly neutral wardrobe, but it is also offered in a beige and a bright coral orange that’s perfect for summer. 

The bag is not just stylish but extremely spacious. It can fit all of my essentials, with additional room for larger items like my Kindle, iPad, portable charger, and water bottle. It also features a convenient interior pocket for safely stowing my smaller essentials, like my card holder and smartphone. One shopper agreed and said it's "super easy to throw any and everything in." 

One standout feature of this bag is its lengthy shoulder strap that’s comfortable and roomy without being too tight (an issue I’ve had with plenty of bags in the past).
