Paris Hilton Just Revived the Polarizing Y2K Jewelry Trend We Never Thought We'd See Again

Case in point? On Thursday, the heiress-turned-DJ attended the 2023 Billboard Latin Music Awards, sporting the Y2K jewelry trend that she used to wear on repeat. Campaigning for the return of the statement bracelet, Paris accessorized her plunging mint green gown with two massive crystal-encrusted bangles on each wrist — much like the sequined cuffs she wore to a party thrown by Motorola (the same company that invented the pink Razr flip phone) in the year 2000. 

While her bracelets this time around looked much more elegant, they weren't any less extravagant, especially when paired with a glittery silver Jimmy Choo clutch and coordinating crystal-studded pointy-toe pumps. Paris — who presented singer Karol G with the Spirit of Hope Award at the event — finished off her red carpet look with diamond stud earrings, and pulled her blonde hair back in sleek updo with side-swept bangs.

Paris's appearance at the Billboard Latin Music Awards came just hours after it was announced that her 2023 memoir, Paris: the Memoir, is being made into a TV miniseries by A24. Elle and Dakota Fanning will serve as executive producers under their Lewellen Pictures company name, and Hilton herself will also executive produce via 11:11 Media’s Slivington Manor Entertainment along with Bruce Gersh.
