It’s Reese, baby! At the 2024 SAG Awards on Saturday, Feb. 24, the iconic, legendary, truly mesmerizing actress Reese Witherspoon hit the carpet in what is evidently turning out to be the color of 2024: red. For her appearance, Witherspoon tapped Elie Saab for a sleeveless haute couture dress with a va-va-voom, just-above-the-knee slit and an elegant display of jewels that took the look to an even more glamorous level.
Styled by Petra Flannery, she finalized her outfit with red Gianvito Rossi shoes and a matching pedicure, plus Bucherer Fine Jewellery diamond studs, a yellow diamond necklace, and gold diamond rings. Her hair was completed by hairstylist Lona Vigi with products from Revolve Beauty.
Of course, Witherspoon was on hand as a nominee for Drama Series Ensemble thanks to her work on The Morning Show opposite Jennifer Aniston, who is also in attendance at the show and nominated for Female Actor in a Drama Series.

Stopping by E!’s spot on the carpet to chat with host Laverne Cox, Witherspoon described her fashion choice for the night in Gen Z-approved terms. “It’s giving Pookie looks fire,” she joked, referencing the viral Southern TikTok couple Pookie and Jett Puckett, known for their (sort of cringey yet kinda cute) videos, in which he endlessly compliments his wife; most recently, they even made a front-row appearance at Tory Burch during New York Fashion Week.
But back to Witherspoon. She then dead-panned, “It’s giving red.” Cox shared a anecdote about having recently run into Jon Hamm, who sung Witherspoon and Aniston’s praises, calling them Hollywood’s ultimate bosses. “That is so touching,” Witherspoon told Cox. “It really is a big deal, the past four, five years, women really coming into their own as producers … It helps support our work.”
