Alright Netflix subscribers, listen up and hold on to your berets because this just in: everyone's favorite stylish marketing executive, Emily Cooper, will return to our television screens (or wherever you like to stream) this summer.
That's right, after almost two years since the release of Emily in Paris Season 3, Darren Star's hit Paris-based series will premiere a fourth binge-worthy installment in two parts this August and September. It's sure to be packed with more French Girl dressing, complicated love triangles, and the joie de vivre we've come to know and expect from the Netflix show.
Don't just take our word for it—the show's star-studded cast has even said that things are about to get (more) interesting in the upcoming season. In the official announcement video, when asked to describe the upcoming release, the group threw out quite the adjectives. Lily Collins, the series' eccentric lead, teased that the new episodes are "vulnerable" and "adventurous," while Lucien Laviscount, who plays Alfie, opted for "chaotic" and "heartbreaking," and Camille Razat, who plays Camille, said "messy." Meanwhile, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, who plays Sylvie, stated, "This season sums up to one word: revenge." Sounds très magnifique.
While you go brush up on your French, here's everything we know about Emily in Paris Season 4.

'Emily in Paris' Season 4 Plot
According to the official synopsis, Season 4 will detail the aftermath of Camille and Gabriel's misbegotten wedding, which has left Emily "reeling."
"Emily has strong feelings for two men, but Gabriel is on the verge of becoming a father, and ex boyfriend Alfie’s (Laviscount) worst fears about her and Gabriel have been confirmed. Unfortunately, Emily and Gabriel’s chemistry is undeniable as they work together toward a Michelin star, but two big secrets threaten to undo everything they’ve dreamed of," the summary reads.
Meanwhile, Sylvie will see a "thorny dilemma from her past" sneak up on her that she'll have to confront for the sake of her marriage, and Mindy is "forced to get thrifty" when funds run low as she and her band gear up for Eurovision.
Netflix
In an announcement video from June, Collins hinted her character might need to switch Google Translate from French to Italian. "While Emily's heart will always remain true to Paris, her life takes some unexpected twists this season. Don't be surprised to find her on a Roman holiday."
Official Sneak Peek Photos
In July 2024, Netflix released official photos from the upcoming season, offering a sneak peak of what Emily will get into in season 4 (and what she'll wear doing it). This marked the second dump of snapshots from the streaming service; read more about the first release, which happened in June, here.
