Taylor Swift might have legions of Swifties around the world, but the “Cruel Summer” singer isn’t immune to a fangirl moment. Case in point: Simone Biles used Swift’s song “"...Ready For It?” to take the top spot in the first half of the women’s qualifying event for the 2024 U.S. Olympics Gymnastic Trials, and Swift took to social media to reveal that she wasn’t ready for Biles’s display of talent.
On Friday, June 28, Biles used the 2017 Reputation track for her floor routine, even nailing the notoriously difficult triple-double–the Olympic gold medalist was the first woman to complete the move back in 2019 at the U.S. Gymnastics Championships–among other tricky tumbles. She also used Travis Scott’s song “Delresto (Echoes)” during her floor routine. The NBC Olympics & Paralympics account shared a video of the set on X (formerly Twitter), and Swift headed to the comments section to applaud the seven-time Olympic medalist’s winning routine,

"Watched this so many times and still unready,” she wrote. “She’s ready for it tho.” The “Down Bad” singer added American flag and medal emojis, suggesting that Biles will be adding to her significant medal collection at the Olympics this year.
Swift has been on her own Olympic marathon of sorts, playing at city after city for her Eras tour. That Friday, the “Karma” singer enchanted fans in Dublin, just days after bringing her boyfriend Travis Kelce on stage for his Eras tour performance debut in London.

Considering the Eras tour goes until December, it’s unlikely Swift will be able to go watch the Olympic games in Paris, but it’s safe to say she’ll be cheering Biles on from afar.
